Tusker, Lager (Kenya) 
Brewed with malt grown in Kenya's Rift Valley and spring water, this lager pours a pale to medium gold and has a white head with decent retention. It is very clean and crisp on the nose, with only a suggestion of malt, a touch of clove, and a citrussy, almost white beer character. On the palate this is clean as a whistle: it is refreshingly light-bodied, with razor sharp citrus flavours and just a rounding, softening touch of malt in the mid-palate. It is a very pure and unadulterated style of lager, and a fine example of this style. 4.2% ABV, 50cl, ?26.99 for 12, Surf4beer.  |  |
